It all began on a road trip out west and turned into a cross-country love story. Through flights, long drives, and countless adventures, every chapter brought us closer to forever.
Where it began
Laura’s sister Leah and brother-in-law Tim invited her to join their trip to Moab, and Chris was already planning to go with the group. Between Jeep rides, hikes, and shared meals, something about the weekend just clicked. Chris was instantly drawn to Laura, though she had no idea their story was only beginning.

The Beginning

Laura planned a weekend trip to Helen, Georgia with her sisters to visit the Christmas markets. What she didn’t know was that Leah had invited Chris to join. The weekend was full of laughter and great conversation, and it ended with their first official date at Jianna in Greenville. By then, they were both catching feelings and excited to see where it might go.
January 2024 | Denver
In January, Chris flew to Denver for what they both knew would be one of many flights. They explored the city and spent a cozy weekend in a cabin in Estes Park. On January 12, he made it official, and by then, Laura was pretty positive that she had found the one.
The Long Distance Chapter
Over the next ten months, we traveled back and forth twelve times to see each other, from music festivals and spontaneous weekends to a trip to Vegas, a summer in Greenville, and a visit to New York. Each trip was another chapter in our story and made every mile worth it.
2024
The Big MOVE
After nearly a year of flights, countdowns, and tough goodbyes, Laura packed up, Chris flew out, and we made the road trip to Greenville. The drive marked the start of our life together in the same city and the end of long distance.

The proposal
Exactly one year after the move, Chris proposed at our favorite spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was the perfect full-circle moment to the start of our forever.
